Surgical Options

Botulinum-Toxin A (Botox)

Botox is a naturally occurring bacterial protein. It is toxic.
None for me! I do not want any toxins under my skin. The treatment has to be done every 4-9 months, and I have heard many success stories from users. But where does the sweat go?

Endoscopic transthoracic sympathectomy

Surgical disconnection of the nerves that are responsible for the circulation of the sweat.

Surgical disconnection of the sweat glands

Sweat is natural, it's healthy to sweat, but not that much. Should we stop it completely? Should we stop it irreversibly? I have read user reports that if you go this road, you have to expect compensatory sweating. So by stopping the sweat under your armpits you might start sweating elsewhere on your body - back, legs, groin etc.

Lazer sweat ablation - removal of sweat glands

A well tested procedure carried out by specialized surgeons. Again, there is a possibility of compensatory sweating. I have read reports that say the problem wasn’t solved even after the second lazer sweat ablation. But there are also many successful reports.

I haven’t found more possibilities to date and I would like once again to draw attention that this information DOES NOT replace a medical consultation.

Unfortunately I haven’t found anything suitable to stop me from sweating. Because of that I decided not to prevent sweating, but to just let it flow and figure out a way to hide the effects it has on my clothes.
But let it flow in a way nobody can see it.

That might not be the solution to the problem, but it is a solution for everyday life.

You can find the solution under the “Solution” button.
